Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Amped Hybrid Fitness Bootcamp?
The Amped Hybrid Fitness Bootcamp is a 60-minute, station-based group workout combining strength training, cardiovascular endurance, functional fitness and Ninja Warrior-style obstacle training. Participants rotate through a variety of exercise stations designed to challenge the entire body while improving strength, stamina, agility, balance and coordination.
Is this bootcamp beginner-friendly?
Absolutely! Our Hybrid Fitness Bootcamp welcomes participants of different fitness levels, including beginners. Each station will offer exercise modifications or alternatives so participants can work at a pace appropriate for their abilities. No previous hybrid fitness or obstacle course experience is required.
What exercises will we be doing?
Participants can expect a combination of SkiErg intervals, rowing, kettlebell exercises, dumbbell strength training, bodyweight movements, agility drills and Ninja Warrior-style obstacles. Exercises may include squats, lunges, farmer carries, planks, monkey bars, balance challenges and more.
Is this a HYROX competition?
No. This is a group fitness class, not a competition or official HYROX event. While the workout incorporates elements commonly found in hybrid fitness training, participants will rotate through stations rather than compete against one another. The focus is on building fitness, learning new skills and enjoying a challenging workout.
Do I need to know how to complete Ninja Warrior obstacles?
Not at all! Our coaches will introduce the obstacles and demonstrate appropriate techniques. Participants can choose from beginner-friendly modifications and more challenging variations based on their experience and comfort level.
How long is the bootcamp?
The event lasts approximately 45-60 minutes, including a group warm-up, exercise demonstrations, station-based workout, recovery breaks and cooldown.
How many people can participate?
Registration is limited to a maximum of 20 participants to maintain a structured training environment and provide opportunities for individual coaching. Advance registration is encouraged, as spots are limited.
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes. We recommend bringing a water bottle and a small towel. All workout equipment will be provided.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No. Amped Obstacles will provide the equipment needed for the workout, including access to cardio machines, strength training equipment and designated Ninja Warrior obstacles.
Is this event for adults only?
Yes. This Hybrid Fitness Bootcamp is designed for adults ages 18 and older.
Will there be running?
The workout will include cardiovascular conditioning, so running may be required. Participants will use equipment such as the SkiErg and rowing machine, along with other conditioning exercises. Modifications will be available when appropriate.
Is this a competition or a timed race?
No. This is a coach-led group workout where participants rotate through exercise stations. There are no rankings, podium placements or required finishing times. Participants are encouraged to challenge themselves while working at their own fitness level.
Where is the Hybrid Fitness Bootcamp located?
The event will be outdoors/ indoors and will take place at Amped Obstacles, a Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course and fitness facility located at:
2626 Aero Dr.
Grand Prairie, TX 75052

Final event details will be confirmed when registration opens.
How much does it cost?

Do I need to register in advance?
Yes. Advance online registration will be required. With only 20 available spots, we recommend reserving your place early. Walk-in participation will depend on remaining availability.
Can I attend with a friend or workout partner?
Absolutely! Friends, couples, coworkers and workout partners are welcome to register together. This is a great opportunity to experience a different style of fitness training with someone you know.
What if I cannot complete an exercise?
That's okay! Our coaches will provide appropriate modifications and alternative exercises when possible. The goal is to challenge yourself safely, not to complete every movement at the same level as everyone else.
Why try hybrid fitness at Amped Obstacles?
Unlike a traditional gym bootcamp, Amped Obstacles combines functional strength and endurance training with an indoor Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course. Participants have the opportunity to develop grip strength, agility, coordination, balance and total-body fitness while trying obstacles they may not find at a conventional fitness facility.
