What is a Spirit Night at AMPED Obstacles?

A Spirit Night is a fun, community-focused fundraising event where families come together for an exciting ninja experience while supporting a local school or organization. Participants enjoy obstacle courses and Open Gym time, and a portion of the evening’s revenue is donated back to the hosting group.

How does the fundraiser work?

Your organization invites families and supporters to attend the Spirit Night during the scheduled time window. All qualifying purchases made by participants who are connected to your event are tracked, and your organization receives a percentage of the event’s total sales. The more participants who attend, the greater the fundraising impact.

Who can host a Spirit Night?

Spirit Nights are available to:

  • K–12 schools

  • PTAs and PTOs

  • Youth sports teams

  • Community groups that promote healthy, active lifestyles

To keep events accessible for families, we focus on organizations located within a reasonable driving distance of our facility.

How far in advance should we apply?

We recommend submitting your Spirit Night request at least four weeks before your desired event date. This allows enough time to promote the event and maximize attendance and fundraising results.

Do you provide promotional materials?

Yes. Once your Spirit Night is approved, we provide ready-to-use promotional materials to help you spread the word. Distribution and promotion to your community is handled by the organizing group to ensure everyone knows how to participate.

What is the organization responsible for?

The hosting organization is responsible for:

  • Promoting the Spirit Night to families and supporters

  • Ensuring participants understand how to be counted toward the fundraiser

  • Encouraging attendees to mention or present the Spirit Night identifier during check-in

This helps us accurately track event-related sales.

When do Spirit Nights take place?

Spirit Nights are held during a designated evening time block on the scheduled date. Certain weekdays may not be available, and dates are subject to availability. Events may be rescheduled if needed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Are there any restrictions on activities during the event?

To keep the experience smooth and enjoyable for all guests:

  • Outside fundraising, selling items, or soliciting donations on-site is not permitted

  • All activities must remain within the Spirit Night event structure

This ensures a safe, organized, and positive environment for families.

Are all Spirit Night requests approved?

Due to high demand, we’re unable to accommodate every request. Each application is reviewed carefully to ensure alignment with our community engagement goals. Approved organizations will be contacted directly with next steps.

Does AMPED Obstacles support all types of organizations?

We proudly partner with inclusive, community-driven organizations. We do not support groups or activities that exclude individuals based on personal characteristics or that fall outside our community engagement guidelines.

How do we apply to host a Spirit Night?
