More Than Just Exercise

At Amped Obstacles, we believe physical activity should be exciting.

Instead of traditional workouts, children explore our indoor Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course while developing valuable life skills through movement and play.

Throughout the event, participants will experience activities designed to encourage:

  • Balance

  • Coordination

  • Agility

  • Grip strength

  • Confidence

  • Problem-solving

  • Teamwork

  • Social interaction

  • Healthy physical activity

Children naturally challenge themselves while cheering one another on, creating an encouraging environment where every accomplishment is celebrated.

Designed Specifically for Homeschool Families

Our Homeschool Social is intentionally built for homeschooling families throughout DFW.

Rather than a structured class or competitive event, this is a relaxed opportunity for families to build friendships while children enjoy active play together.

Many homeschool parents are looking for opportunities where kids can:

  • Meet children with similar schedules

  • Build lasting friendships

  • Practice teamwork

  • Improve communication skills

  • Stay physically active

  • Enjoy screen-free fun

Our Homeschool Social brings all of those together in one exciting hour.

What Your Child Can Expect

Every Homeschool Social includes a variety of fun activities, including:

🏆 Ninja Warrior obstacle course exploration

🎯 Coach-led games and group challenges

🤝 Opportunities to meet other homeschool families

⚡ Active, screen-free play

💜 Positive encouragement from experienced coaches

Whether your child is outgoing or prefers to ease into new experiences, our coaches create an environment where everyone feels welcome.

No Experience Necessary

One of the best parts about Amped Obstacles is that every obstacle can be adapted to different ability levels.

Whether your child has never stepped onto an obstacle course before or already loves Ninja Warrior training, they'll be challenged appropriately while having fun.

Our coaches encourage progress—not perfection.

A Great Alternative to Traditional Homeschool PE

Many homeschool families include physical education as part of their weekly routine.

Our Homeschool Social offers a unique way to add movement through activities that naturally develop athletic ability while keeping kids fully engaged.

Children improve:

  • Functional strength

  • Body awareness

  • Coordination

  • Balance

  • Reaction time

  • Confidence

  • Healthy movement habits

Instead of repetitive drills, kids are simply having fun while building skills they'll use for years to come.

Parents Stay and Connect Too

This isn't a drop-off event.

Parents remain onsite throughout the Homeschool Social, creating a wonderful opportunity to meet other homeschooling families throughout Grand Prairie, Arlington, Mansfield, Irving, Dallas, Cedar Hill, Midlothian, and surrounding communities.

Many lasting friendships begin simply by spending time together in positive environments.

What Should Your Child Wear?

For the safest and most enjoyable experience, we recommend:

  • Comfortable athletic clothing

  • Closed-toe athletic shoes

  • A labeled water bottle

Please leave electronics, toys, and valuables at home so everyone can focus on having fun together.

Waivers Are Required

For everyone's safety, every participant, including both children and accompanying adults, must have a completed waiver on file before participating or entering the activity areas. Completing your waiver in advance helps make check-in quick and easy on event day.
